Effects of Foliar Spraying Magnesium Chloride on Yield and Quality of Flue-cured Tobacco
In order to investigate the effect of foliar spraying with different amounts of magnesium chloride on the yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco,the"K326"flue-cured tobacco variety was used as the experimental material.Field experiments were conducted to set up treatments of foliar spraying with different times of magnesium chloride(LYL1,LYL2,LYL3)at different stages and blank controls. The effects of each treatment on the yield and chemical composition of flue-cured tobacco leaves were analyzed. The results showed that the yield of tobacco leaves treated with foliar spraying of chlorine fertilizer was higher than that of the control treatment, with an increase of 6.67%-15.29%.Among them,LYL1 treatment had the highest yield of flue-cured tobacco and had a significant difference compared to the control treatment. The output value of tobacco treated with foliar spraying of chlorine fertilizer increased by 11.90%-17.55%compared to the control treatment, with LYL1 treatment had the highest output value, and LYL1 and LYL3 treatment had significant differences in output value com-pared to the control.Spraying chlorine fertilizer on the leaves could significantly improve the coordination of chemical components in flue-cured tobacco leaves and enhance their internal quality. In summary, under local soil and environmental conditions in Fuchuan County, foliar spra-ying with chlorine fertilizer could significantly improve the yield, output value, and quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves, which has important reference significance for local high-yield and high-quality tobacco cultivation.
