In order to screen new barley varieties suitable for planting in coastal areas,a comparative study was conducted in 2022 on the growth period,agronomic traits and yield of six barley varieties(strains)using Yanmai 7 as a control(CK).Results showed that Yanshimai 9(hybrid)had the highest yield,with a yield of 9 970.5 kg/hm2,an increase of 44.3%compared to the control,followed by Susimai 1,with a yield of 9 684.0 kg/hm2,an increase of 40.2%compared to the control.Their yield-related traits performed well,showing strong adaptability and high yield,having good prospects for planting and promoting in coastal areas.
