Study on Chemical Composition and Antibacterial Activity of Acetone Extracts from Five Species of Wood in Michelia
The chemical constituents of the acetone extracts from five species of wood such as Michelia fukianensis,M.macclurei,M.maudi-ae,M.chapensis and M.skinneriana wood in Michelia genus of Magnoliaceae family were determined by full two-dimensional gas chromatogra-phy-mass spectrometry in order to explore the main components of acetone extracts from five species of wood and their differences and the in-hibitory effects of acetone extracts on five species of white rot fungi were analyzed by the method of toxic medium culture with growth rate. The results showed that there were 17,23,27,27 and 26 main components of acetone extracts from M.fukianensis,M.macclurei,M.maudiae,M.chapensis and M.skinneriana wood respectively. The most abundant components of acetone extract from M.fujianensis,M.macclurei and M.chapensis wood were inositol, lignans and ethyl cyanoacetate, respectively, accounting for 57.98%,25.97%and 15.63%,respectively.The most abundant component of acetone extract from M.maudiae and M.skinneriana wood was glacial acetic acid, accounting for 24.89%and 23.64%,respectively.The characteristic components of acetone extract from M.fujianensis wood were α-cyperone,α-guaiacene and 9-oxaza-noic acid;the characteristic components of acetone extract from M.macclurei wood were α-cardinol and 2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethanol,the char-acteristic components of the acetone extract from M.maudiae wood was 8-hydroxy-3-methyl-isochroman-1-one;the characteristic component in acetone extract of M.mirifica was 2-propyl-2,3-dihydropyran-6-one and citronellyl tiglate, the characteristic components of acetone extract from M.skinneriana wood were Dihydro-3-methylene-5-methyl-2-furanone and 6,7-dimethoxyisoquinoline.The acetone extracts from five species of wood in Michelia genus had different inhibitory effects on Coriolus versicolor and Gloeophyllum trabeum, the inhibitory effect increases with their concentration.
