Simulation and Analysis of Rain and Flood Regulation and Storage in Farmland Irrigation and Drainage System
In order to explore the influences of farmland irrigation and drainage system composed of farmland, ditch, pond weir and small reser-voir(referred to as"farmland-ditch-pond-reservoir"system)on rainwater regulation and storage,we took farmland irrigation and drainage sys-tem of the research base in Jiangxi Central Station of Irrigation Experiment as the research object, and used the environmental fluid dynamics code(EFDC)model to construct water balance model of the typical small irrigation and drainage system, and evaluate the influences of different water management model of farmland and pond weir, and reservoir on outlet peak discharge and the drainage volume of the system under differ-ent rainfall frequencies. The results showed that the system could reduce the peak outlet runoff by 29.55%,and reduce the drainage volume by 31.08%under the normal water management status. The drainage volume of the intermittent irrigation mode was reduced by 12.69%compared with that of flooded irrigation mode. The drainage volume of the system was the minimum when the controlled water depth of the pond weir was 0.6 m.The simulation results showed that the farmland irrigation and drainage system could reduce the peak runoff and drainage volume, and it had a good rainwater storage and flood regulation capacity.
