Professional Farmers:the Dimensions of Occupational Cognition and the Formation Mechanism of Will—Based on the Survey Data of 619 Farmers in Jiangxi Province
The transformation of economic structure and the deepening of market economy make farmers have more employment and develop-ment opportunities,also have brought many opportunities and challenges to agricultural production.In order to meet the needs of agricultural modernization,more and more farmers consider agriculture as a career to choose and develop.Therefore,based on the survey data of 619 rural households in Jiangxi Province and the dimensions of occupational cognition,the Logit-ISM model was established to analyze the influencing factors and internal mechanism of farmers'occupational willingness,the conclusions are as follows:In the aspect of farmers'occupational cog-nition,the evaluation of occupational identity,the perception of scale management risk,the demonstration of successful cases and the under-standing of related policies have a significant positive impact on farmers'professionalization willingness.In addition,the control variables also have a significant impact on the willingness to professionalize,family income per capita,the proportion of agricultural income and village traffic is positive,village terrain is negative correlation.At the logical level,the proportion of agricultural income and per capita household income fur-ther affected the perception of scale management risk through the evaluation of occupational identity,the demonstration of successful cases and the understanding of relevant policies,thus affecting the willingness of farmers to professionalize.Village topography and traffic are the deep root factors,and farmers'scale management risk perception is the surface factor.
