Food security is a national priority.Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee has always taken food security as a top priority in governance and put forward a new food security concept of ensuring basic self-sufficiency in grains and absolute food security.Under the guidance of the Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,China has made historic achievements in food security.However,China's food security is also facing new challenges and problems.We need to fully implement the new concept of food security,thoroughly implement the strategy of storing grain in the ground and storing grain in technology,and lay a solid foundation for food security in all aspects of politics,science and technology,human resources,industry,law,culture and ecology,so as to lay a solid foundation for building an agricultural power and modernization of agriculture and rural areas.
