Against the backdrop of the rural revitalization strategy,this study focuses on the differentiated contradictions in urban-rural devel-opment in western China.By introducing the relevant concepts and theoretical foundations of urban-rural integration development,it clarifies the current situation and problems of insufficient industrial layout,low quality of rural talents,low level of public services,and gaps in urban-rural cultural integration in western rural areas.Through in-depth analysis of the causes of the problem,new strategies have been proposed to promote industrial restructuring in rural areas,broaden rural talent cultivation methods,improve basic public services between urban and rural areas,and synergistically promote cultural integration between urban and rural areas,in order to promote resource sharing and ultimately pro-mote shared development betweenurban and rural areas.
