Effects of Calcium Fertilizers on Potato Yield,Quality and Hollowing
To investigate the regulatory effects and impacts of foliar fertilizers in combination with different calcium fertilizers on potato hollo-wing,yield,and quality,providing theoretical and practical references for the rational application of calcium fertilizers in potato production,this experiment utilized the mid-to-late maturing variety"Qianyu No.7" as the experimental material.Eight treatment groups were established,inclu-ding CK1(compound fertilizer),T1(compound fertilizer+gypsum),T2(compound fertilizer±calcium spray),T3(compound fertilizer+gypsum+calcium spray),CK2(compound fertilizer+foliar fertilizer),T4(compound fertilizer+foliar fertilizer+gypsum),T5(compound fertilizer+calcium spray+foliar fertilizer),and T6(compound fertilizer+gypsum+calcium spray+foliar fertilizer).Among these treat-ments,T1 demonstrated the best performance in promoting yield formation,followed by T4 and T5.T5 showed the most significant improvement in tuber quality,while T2,T3,and T5 were particularly effective in inhibiting the occurrence of hollowing.If the primary objective is to maximize yield,it is recommended to follow the fertilization scheme of T1.To primarily reduce the incidence of potato hollowing defects,the fertilization scheme of T2 is suggested.Considering both economic output benefits and tuber quality,the fertilization scheme of T5 is advised for reference.
