Effect of Fertilizer Reduction Combined with the Application of Fungi and Cow Manure on Soil Fertility in Barren Land
In order to explore the effect of fungus mixed with cow manure on the barren land under the condition of fertilizer reduction,con-ventional single fertilizer(CK)was set as the control, and four experimental treatments were set up:fungus+cow manure+25% fertilizer(T1),fungus+cow manure+50% fertilizer(T2),fungus+cow manure+75% fertilizer(T3),and fungus+cow manure+100% fertilizer(T4).The effects of different treatments on soil physicochemical properties and maize yield were analyzed. The results showed that fertilizer re-duction combined with organic materials significantly increased soil pH and porosity by 11.0%-19.0% and 8.0%-26.2%,respectively,com-pared with CK,while reducing soil bulk density by 7.5%-30.0% .In addition to T4,the content of organic matter and total organic carbon in T1,T2 and T3 treatment increased significantly, increasing by 56%,83% and 86% respectively. The contents of total nitrogen,alkali-hydro-lyzed nitrogen and available phosphorus in soil treated with T4 were the highest, which were 38.3%,47.5% and 166.7% higher than those of CK,respectively. The content of available potassium and total potassium in soil treated with T2 was the highest, which was 593% and 36.2% higher than that of CK,respectively. The activity of urease and sucrase in soil was increased by 14.71%-75.64% and 8.66%-13.81% com-pared with CK,respectively.Compared with CK,T3 and T4 treatment significantly increased the yield of corn, increased by 12.88% and 19.63%,respectively,and the cost saving and efficiency increase of T1,T2 and T3 were more than 1 500 yuan/hm2.In general, the reduc-tion of fertilizer application combined with the application of fungi and cow manure to the field had a significant effect on the improvement of physical and chemical properties of the barren soil and the increase of corn production. The results of this study can provide technical support for increasing efficiency of fertilizer reduction in barren land.
