Effects of Different Plant Growth Regulators on Rooting of Caryopteris clandonensis"Worcester Gold"Sprout Cuttings
[Objective]In order to improve the rooting effect of the cuttings of Caryopteris clandonensis, the tender branches of Caryopteris clan-donensis were treated with plant growth regulators, therefore,it provides the theoretical basis and scientific basis for the rapid propagation,culti-vation and application of Caryopteris clandonensis.[Method]The semi-lignified branches of Caryopteris clandonensis were used as experimental materials, the effects of plant growth regulators of different species, concentrations and treatment time on rooting of Caryopteris clandonensis au-reate tender branch cuttings were studied. After cutting for 2 months, the rooting rate, average root number, average root length, longest root length, fresh root quality and root effect index were investigated.[Result]The results showed that there were significant differences in rooting rate, average root number, average root length, fresh root quality and root effect index among 9 treatments.According to the comprehensive mem-bership function, the overall rooting effect of treatment 6 was the best. The results of range analysis showed that the dominant factor was the kind of growth regulator, followed by the treatment time of growth regulator, and the concentration of growth regulator had the least effect on it.The results of multiple comparison showed that among the 3 kinds of growth regulators, the rooting effect of indol-naphthylacetic acid treatment was the best, and there was no significant difference in root effect index among the 3 treatments. The rooting effect of cuttings of Caryopteris clan-donensis treated with 1 500 mg/L of the three regulators was better.[Conclusion]To sum up,the membership function method was used to ana-lyze the rooting characters. The maximum membership function value was 4.12 when 1 500 mg/L indine-naphthylacetic acid was used to soak for 5 min,to achieve the best rooting effect of the tender branch cuttings into the leaves.
