Expert consultation method was used to establish the evaluation indicators system and confirm the values. Based on the analysis and evaluation of natural environment characteristics and the ecosystem service function value of Poyang Lake wetland with the spatial analysis method of ArcGIS, Poyang Lake wetland was divided into five main ecological functional zones. They are fishery zone, rare fish and animal and water resource conservation zone, migratory bird conservation and oncomelania control zone, eco-aquaculture and important fish reproduction zone, eco-tourism and education zone. At last, the article puts forward several suggestions for protection and sustainable utilization of resources of the Poyang Lake wetlands, in order to provide a scientific basis for the effective management of wetland in Poyang Lake.
