Research on the Relationships between College Students'State of Full Eengagement of Energy and their Exam Scores:From the Perspective of College Students Attending the National Postgraduate Enrolment Exam
Objective:based on of the Theory of Power of Full Engagement of Energy, this study aims to explore the relationships between the energy state of college students and their exam scores. Methods:taking college stu-dents attending the national postgraduate enrolment exam as an example,424 undergraduates were invited to com-plete the Full Engagement Questionnaire personally designed by the author.Results:① all energy dimension scores,as well as the scores of exam,of the test-takers who successfully passed the exam were respectively high-er than those who failed(P<0.01);scores of test-takers from the group of high level are higher than those from the groups of medium and bottom level;the scores of exam of the group of medium level are higher than the scores of the group of bottom level(P<0.001);the passing rates for exam from the group of high level of all ener-gy dimensions were significantly higher than the average passing rates, while the failure rates from the group of bottom level were significantly higher than the average failure rates(P<0.01);②the scores of all energy dimen-sions were positively correlated with the total scores of the exam(r physical=0.198,r emotion=0.217,r thinking=0.224,r spirit=0.196,r total energy=0.242,P<0.01),the total energy scores had a logistic effect on the scores of the exam, with the effect value of 0.058(F=26.204,P<0.001),and regression coefficient 0.495(t=5.119,P<0.001).Conclusion:The state of full engagement of energy of test-takers for postgraduate enrolment exam had an effect on the results of such exam and the total energy scores could positively predict the scores of the postgraduate enrolment exam.
