Temporal and Spatial Pattern of Cultural Heritage in Shanxi Province and Its Influencing Factors:A Case Study of Cultural Relics Protection Units
Using Arc GIS spatial analysis tools,the spatial-temporal distribution characteristics and influencing factors of the cultural relics protection units in Shanxi Province were studied.The research object was the cultural relics protection units announced by National Cultural Heritage Administration and Shanxi Culture Relics Bureau.The results showed that:(1)the spatial distribution of various types of cultural relics protection units in Shanxi Province showed a state of agglomeration,among which the agglomeration characteristics in Jinnan area were the most obvious;(2)In different historical periods,the spatial distribution of cultural relics protection units in Shanxi Province shows a northeast-southwest trend,and their spatial distribution density characteristics have both commonality and individuality;(3)The distribution of cultural relics protection units in different historical periods in Shanxi Province was significantly affected by the natural environment,showing the characteristics of low alti-tude and hydrophilia,and was closely related to human factors such as population,political and historical changes in Shanxi Province.
