China's rural areas have a large population and huge potential for consumer markets. The expansion of their consumer markets will promote the upgrading and transformation of the domestic supply system.Digital logistics,as a key link connecting production and consumption, not only improves the accessibility of consumer goods for rural residents, but also promotes the upward development of agricultural products. It has a very important practical significance in driving rural residents'consumption and releasing China's domestic demand potential.Based on panel data of 278 prefecture-level cities and 4 direct-administered municipalities in China from 2010 to 2021,this paper establishes panel fixed effect model, mediating effect model, and threshold effect model to empirically test the impact of digital logistics on rural residents'consumption upgrading and its mechanism. The study finds that digital logistics has a positive impact on rural residents'consumption upgrading;industrial structure upgrading plays a partial mediating role in the process of digital logistics driving rural residents'consumption upgrading;at the same time, industrial structure upgrading plays a threshold effect in the process of digital logistics driving rural residents'consumption upgrading;the impact of digital logistics on rural residents'con-sumption upgrading exists heterogeneity in different regions,at different stages of development,in different dimensions of digital logistics, and at different levels of consumption upgrading.
