On the current situation, difficulties, and path selection of the examination for higher vocational students upgrading to undergraduate colleges in Anhui Province
The examination for higher vocational students upgrading to undergraduate colleges has been in ex-istence for over 20 years, playing an important role in helping students make the leap from junior college to undergraduate level, cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents, and broadening the employment prospects of college students. However, with the further development of economic and educational levels, its limitations have become increasingly prominent, manifested in the inconsistency between its assessment form and the evaluation requirements of"cultural quality+vocational skills",the lack of diversity in assessment forms, insufficient assessment of vocational skills, and the development of a"de-professionalization"mentality among vocational college students. The reform of the examination for higher vocational students upgrading to undergraduate colleges should be promoted by building a comprehensive evaluation mechanism, mobilizing the initiative of newly upgraded vocational education undergraduate colleges, and leveraging their role models and exemplary effects.
