This paper explores the current situation of ideological and political education in the physical educa-tion curriculum in vocational colleges from three aspects,and analyzes the innovative ways of cultivating talents through the combination of ideological and political education in the physical education curriculum of vocational colleges.The aim of this study is to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education in the physical education curriculum of vocational colleges,in order to cultivate high-skilled and high-quality talents with both moral integrity and professional skills for the country.
