Representing Chinese water culture,the name of irrigation structures should be standard and con-cise.However,the research on these listed in World Heritage Irrigation Structure finds that three problems ex-ist in these names:inconsistent names,redundant words,cultural default.In order to improve the quality of translation and promote the development of Chinese culture,thus building a translation norm for Chinese irri-gation structures,three corresponding measures are put forward under the guidance of eco-translatology and consistency in the translation of names.
