The decoupling effect of Hefei's carbon emissions from economic growth and its drivers
As a dual node city of the"the Belt and Road"and the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the research on the decoupling of carbon emissions and economic development in Hefei is crucial. This study constructed a carbon emission decoupling model based on the Tapio-LMDI framework to analyze the impact of technology, industry, and resources on carbon emissions. The results indicate that from 2006 to 2022,there was a strong decoupling between carbon emissions and economic growth in Hefei City, and the improvement of industrial technology and the decrease in water consumption per unit of industrial added value were the key factors for carbon decoupling.
