Shifts in the Center of Gravity of the Chinese Communist Revolution and the Evolution of the Layout of Party Communication Lines from a Geo-spatial Perspective(1927-1937)
From a geospatial perspective, the Chinese Communist Party adjusted the layout of its internal communication lines in tandem with the shift of the revolutionary focus, which not only had a profound impact on the revolutionary situation but also brought about changes in the"Party-territory relationship".Following the"August 7th Meeting",the Party proposed the construction of internal communication lines, clarified the responsibilities of the transportation departments in terms of organiza-tion,and formulated tasks for transportation work to advance the construction of internal communication lines, ultimately form-ing a communication network centered in Shanghai.Following 1930,the CCP's urban survival space was compromised,necessi-tating a shift of the revolutionary focus to rural areas. The Party established a communication network centered around the Cen-tral Soviet Area, connecting it with Shanghai and other Soviet regions. After the failure of the Fifth"Encirclement and Suppres-sion",a large-scale strategic shift was made with the Central Red Army as the core, forming a dynamic transportation network with it as the core. The transformation of the CCP's revolutionary focus and the resulting changes in the layout of the Party's communication lines indicate that the CCP realized that only by transforming the"human-land relationship"in the existing geographical space into a"Party-land relationship"could the goal of"both people and land existing"be achieved.
