Analysis of virus inhibition effect and influencing factors in ART HIV/AIDS patients in Zongyang County
Objective To analyze the virus suppression effect and related influencing factors of HIV infections and AIDS patients(HIV/AIDS)receiving antiretroviral therapy(ART)in Zongyang County. Methods The data of HIV/AIDS pa-tients who had received ART for more than 6 months in Zongyang County were collected for retrospective analysis. The Chi-squared test,Fisher exact probability method and binary logistic regression model were used to analyze the influencing fac-tors of viral inhibition failure in ART patients. Results Among 211 HIV/AIDS patients,15 cases had viral load≥ 1 000 copies/mL for the first time after treatment, and the failure rate of virus inhibition was 7.11%.Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in virus suppression among groups with different marital status, educational level, missed medication,HIV antibody confirmation, treatment time, and family support(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that, with successful antiviral treatment as the control,no missed medication(OR=0.189,95%CI:0.039-0.919)was a protective factor for viral inhibition failure, while education level of primary school or below(OR=12.252,95%CI:1.611-93.175)and family discrimination/lack of knowledge(OR=11.964,95%CI:2.520-56.799)were risk factors for viral inhibition failure. Conclusion The factors affecting the failure of viral suppression in ART patients include missed medication, educational level, and family support.Compliance education and family support systems should be strengthened to improve the success rate of viral suppression in antiviral treatment.
