Analysis of the cognitive status, related factors, and rehabilitation effects of pelvic floor rehabilitation in 600 women of childbearing age in Handan area after 42 days postpartum
Objective To analyze the cognitive status, related factors, and rehabilitation effects of pelvic floor rehabilitation in 600 women of childbearing age in Handan area after 42 days postpartum. Methods A total of 600 women of childbearing age who were admitted to Handan Central Hospital for the first time from January 2021 to January 2022 for birth examination and file establishment were selected. The self-designed cognitive questionnaire for pelvic floor rehabilitation was used to analyze their cognitive status and needs for the 42-day postpar-tum pelvic floor rehabilitation, and the patients receiving pelvic floor rehabilitation treatment (pelvic floor muscle exercise) were included in the treatment group. Only the health educators before discharge were included in the reference group, and the relevant factors affecting the pelvic floor rehabilitation of women of childbearing age were analyzed. The pelvic floor muscle strength and sexual function of women in the two groups were compared at 42 days and 6 months postpartum. Results The cognitive status and demand of pelvic floor rehabilitation between the two groups had statistical significance elevated (P<0.05). Compared with 42 days after delivery,FSFI scores in both groups were signifi-cantly increased (P<0.05). The FSFI score at 6 months postpartum in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion Pelvic floor rehabilitation treatment is helpful in improving postpartum pelvic floor muscle strength and improv-ing maternal sexual function, with significant effects;however, currently, women of childbearing age lack knowledge about pelvic floor rehabili-tation,with only half of them undergoing postpartum pelvic floor rehabilitation treatment.
