Expression of CLDN10 and tri-structural domain protein 59 in ovarian cancer tissues and its clinical significance
Objective To analyze the expression and clinical significance of claudin 10(CLDN10)and triple structural domain pro-tein 59(TRIM59)expression in ovarian cancer tissues. Methods In this study, intraoperative resection of ovarian cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were selected from 112 ovarian cancer patients who underwent surgery in Hebi People's Hospital from February 2017 to February 2019.Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR was used to detect CLDN10 and TRIM59 mRNA expression;immunohisto-chemistry was used to detect CLDN10 and TRIM59 protein expression;Pearson method was used to analyse the correlation between CLDN10 and TRIM59;the relationship between CLDN10 and TRIM59 and prognosis was used for Kaplan-Meier survival curve analy-sis;risk factors for prognosis of ovarian cancer patients were analysed by Cox regression. Results Compared with the paracancerous tissues, the CLDN10 mRNA expression level(0.62±0.14 vs.1.00±0.23)and protein-positive expression rate(39.29%vs.63.39%)were significantly lower in ovarian cancer tissues(P<0.05),and the TRIM59 mRNA expression level(1.64±0.32 vs.1.01±0.25)and protein-positive expression rate(64.29%vs.38.39%)were significantly higher(P<0.05).According to the Pearson correlation analysis, the ex-pression levels of CLDN10 and TRIM59 mRNA in ovarian cancer tissues were negatively correlated(P<0.05).The expression of CLDN10 and TRIM59 in ovarian cancer tissues was correlated with the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics(FIGO staging),the degree of differentiation, and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).According to the Kaplan-Meier method,it was known that the 3-year survival rate of patients with positive CLDN10 expression in ovarian cancer tissues was higher than that of patients with neg-ative expression(P<0.05);the 3-year positive survival rate of patients with positive TRIM59 expression in ovarian cancer tissues was lower than that of patients with negative expression(P<0.05).According to Cox regression analysis,CLDN10-negative and TRIM59-positive were risk factors affecting the prognosis of ovarian cancer patient[HR=2.15,95%CI:(1.15,4.00);HR=3.55,95%CI:(1.55,8.10)].Conclusion CLDN10-negative and TRIM59-positive ovarian cancer tissues are prognostic factors in ovarian cancer, and both have the potential to serve as valuable prognostic markers.
