Transforming growth factor β(TGF-β)plays an important dual role in the development and progression of lung cancer.In the early stage of lung cancer,TGF-β can inhibit the disease by suppressing the growth and accelerating the apoptosis of cells.In the middle and late stage of lung cancer,TGF-β will eventually promote the proliferation,invasion and metastasis of lung cancer cells,when the tumor-promoting function of TGF-β overcomes the anti-tumor effect of TGF-β in vivo.By studying the mechanism of TGF-β in different stages of lung cancer and exploring the role of TGF-β inhibitors in the treatment of lung cancer,it is expected to provide a new drug therapeutic target for the targeted therapy of different stages of lung cancer.
