Effect of Danlou Tongbi decoction on clinical efficacy,angina attack,BNP and 6MWT in patients with angina pectoris of coronary heart disease with phlegm-stasis blocking collaterals syndrome
Objective To explore the effects of Danlou Tongbi decoction on clinical efficacy,angina attack,brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)and 6 min walking test(6MWT)in patients with angina pectoris of coronary heart disease with phlegm-stasis blocking collaterals syndrome.Methods We selected 94 patients with angina pectoris of coronary heart disease with phlegm-stasis blocking collaterals syndrome,who were treated in Yongkang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from June 2020 to June 2022,and assigned them into two groups by random number table method.The control group(n=47)received conventional western medicine treatment,while the ob-servation group(n=47)received additional Danlou Tongbi decoction for a continuous course of treatment with 4 weeks.The TCM symp-tom scores and clinical efficacy of the patients were evaluated,and the angina attacks of the patients were counted.Serum BNP levels were detected before and after treatment,6MWT results of the two groups were compared,and the safety of the treatment regimen was observed.Results The main symptom,secondary symptom and total scores of TCM symptoms in both groups were decreased after treatment(P<0.05),which were lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observa-tion group was higher than that of the control group(91.47%vs.74.47%;P<0.05).The frequency,duration,dosage of nitroglycerin and pain degree of angina pectoris were decreased in both groups(P<0.05)which were lower in observation group than in control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of BNP in two groups were decreased and the levels of 6MWT were increased(P<0.05),with the level of BNP in the observation group lower than that in the control group,and the level of 6MWT higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The adverse reaction rates of control group and observation group were 12.77%and 17.02%,respectively,and there was no sig-nificant difference between them(P>0.05).Conclusion Danlou Tongbi decoction can improve the clinical efficacy of patients with an-gina pectoris of coronary heart disease with phlegm-stasis blocking collaterals syndrome,relieve clinical symptoms,enhance patients'heart function,and effectively reduce the attack of angina pectoris,which achieves high safety.
