Exploration on the medication rules of insect drugs in treating colorectal cancer based on data mining technology
Objective To explore the prescription regularity of insect drugs in the treatment of colorectal cancer with the help of data mining technology,so as to provide some ideas for clinical treatment and new drug development of colorectal cancer.Methods Docu-ments on the treatment of colorectal cancer with insect-containing TCM prescriptions collected from CNKI,Wanfang Database,VIP da-tabase and China Biomedical Literature Database from the date available to June 2023 were retrieved and filtered.Data mining was conducted by Microsoft office Excel 2019 and IBM SPSS Modeler 18.0.Results A total of 234 insect-containing prescriptions were ul-timately included,including 34 types of insect drugs.The top 6 insect drugs used frequently were endothelium corneum gigeriae galli,centipede,pangolin scales,scorpion,donkey-hide gelatin,and turtle carapace,respectively.Insect drugs were mostly used in combina-tion with deficiency tonic medicine,heat clearing medicine,qi regulating medicine,and digestion medicine,etc.Conclusion Insect-containing TCM prescriptions commonly used in the treatment of colorectal cancer usually contain endothelium corneum gigeriae galli,centipede,pangolin scales,scorpion,donkey-hide gelatin,and turtle carapace,which were often used in combination with drugs that achieve the effects of invigorating spleen and qi,clearing water and dampness,helping digestion and harmonizing the stomach.
