术语学视角下Terroir的传播与翻译研究

摘要
翻译未经标准化的术语没有规范可循.在这种情况下,译者可以使用"定义法",即通过加括弧或加注释来提供术语定义译文.如此做是为了把源语专业词汇指称的概念描述清楚.法语词汇Terroir是地理标志产品保护领域使用的术语,内涵丰富且不断演化,被许多语言借用,具有争议性,也缺乏标准化的翻译.笔者建议使用匹配词增加定义补充的办法,将Terroir汉译为"风土(当代社会中含有抵制标准化生产的象征意义)".如此翻译是先求得把Terroir的所指告诉读者,以消除使用的混乱和无序.
Abstract
There is no authoritative book for translating non-standardized terminology.At this time,the translator can use the definition method,that is,to add parenthetical notes in text or other annotations to provide the term a definition and describe the concept of the term s reference in the source language.The French term Terroir is a controversial term used in geographical indication,which is rich in connotation and evolving and has been borrowed in many languages.There is also a lack of standardized translation.The author sug-gests using the matching words and definition supplements to translate Terroir into Chinese as Feng Tu(with the symbolic meaning of non-standardization production in contemporary society)".In this way,the first aim is to inform the Chinese readers of the meaning of Terroir to eliminate the confusion and arbitrary use.
