The CPC's Striving Back to Rumors During the Anti-Japanese War and Its Experience Research
Rumors,as a kind of intentionally fabricated false information to achieve a specific purpose,have obvious ideological attri-butes.During the Comprehensive Anti-Japanese War,due to the adjustment of the Japanese imperialist policy of aggression against Chi-na,the use of the Kuomintang counter-revolutionary regime and the poor channels of information dissemination,Japanese imperialism,the Kuomintang diehards,Chinese traitors,pro-Japanese factions and backward elements in the masses made and spread political ru-mors,military rumors and social rumors in an attempt to smear the international image of the Communist Party of China and undermine the anti-Japanese national united front.The Chinese communists with Mao Zedong as the main representative guide the direction of public opinion by building positions;widely invite journalists to break through the shackles of news;a series of"combined punches"such as positive counterattacks and restoring the truth of the matter broke rumors,shaped the glorious image of the party,and laid an im-portant foundation for uniting and leading the people to win the war of resistance.It is helpful to explore the internal logic of the develop-ment and growth of the Communist Party of China from a broader perspective and to provide experience for the party's ideological work in the new era by summarizing the main practices and achievements of the party's governance of rumors during the comprehensive An-ti-Japanese War.
