Production relations are an important category in Marxist philosophy.Domestic scholars have launched a debate on the orien-tation,connotation and formation of Marx's category of production relations and have formed different views.Foreign scholars have re-constructed and replaced the historical materialism centered on the category of production relations from different perspectives such as communication,consumption,structure and space.Scholars at home and abroad have made fruitful achievements in the study of Marx's production relations theory,but the connotation of production relations,the relationship between production relations and ownership,the contemporary value of production relations theory need to be further interpreted.These require us to rethink by combining Marx's text and theoretical logic.
