Annotations to the History of the Three Kingdoms by Pei Songzhi has done extensive work on the basis of Chen Shou's Re-cord of the Three Kingdoms,including filling gaps,providing alternative explanations,correcting errors,and engaging in debate,making Record of the Three Kingdoms more comprehensive and possessing high historical value.The edition of Record of the Three Kingdoms collated by Zhonghua Book Company is precise and rigorous in textual research,and has always been used as a widely accepted version in academic circles for research purposes.However,there are still aspects of punctuation and text that merit discussion.Now,based on the 1982 revised edition of Record of the Three Kingdoms,we list five suspected errors in Pei's annotations below for readers and edi-tors to refer.
