Study on the Application of Near Infrared Spectroscopy in Drying Process of Radix Aconiti Preparata Pellet Formula
Objective:To investigate the drying process of Radix Aconiti Preparata pellet formula with near infrared spectroscopy. Methods:Drying the same batch of Radix Aconiti Preparata concentrate by vacuum drying and spray drying, compared the two methods and investigated the better method that effective components could be protected. Results:The best drying process of Radix Aconiti Preparata pellet formula is:spray drying in situation of materials' relative density 1.10 (60℃), air-in temperature 165℃, air-out temperature 70℃;through correlation analysis, the correlation coefficent between NIR predictive value of monoester alkaloid and reference value of drying method r=0.901, P<0.001, the correlation coefficent be-tween NIR predictive value of water and reference value of drying method r=0.880, P<0.001, shows that the correlation between NIR predictive val-ue and reference value of HPLC, drying method, which can be used in the rapid detection of relevant components of Radix Aconiti Preparata spray dried powder. Conclusion:NIR quantitative model not only can be used to predict the alkaloid and water in Radix Aconiti Preparata pieces, but also can rapid predict the content of corresponding components in Radix Aconiti Preparata spray dried powder to lay the groundwork for the next continu-ous process.
