A Survey of Non-English Major Undergraduates'English Learning Engagement
Learning engagement is an important indicator of the quality of higher education.This study aims to explore non-En-glish major undergraduates'English learning engagement by questionnaire and its relationship with English grades.The survey of 291 undergraduates showed that(1)their behavioral,emotional and cognitive English learning engagement were on the medium level;(2)the three specific learning engagement were significantly and positively related with English grades,and the behavioral learning engagement could significantly influence English grades;(3)high achievers'behavioral learning engagement was signifi-cantly higher than low achievers;(4)female students'behavioral learning engagement level was significantly higher than male stu-dents.
