The"Introduction to Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era"shoulders the important mission of promoting the Party's innovation theory"three advances"in the new era,implementing the fundamen-tal task of establishing morality and cultivating people,and improving the quality of ideological and political courses as a whole.At present,there are three main aspects of the"blocking points"that affect the improvement of the teaching quality of the course:teachers'professional quality needs to be improved urgently,the teaching content arrangement needs to be optimized,and the teach-ing method design needs to be innovated.Improving teachers'professional quality,integrating teaching content logically,and inno-vating multi-dimensional teaching methods are the effective ways to solve the above-mentioned"blocking points".
