Research on the Influence of Digital Technology Development on the Transformation Rate of Scientific and Technological Achievements——Based on the panel data analysis of 16 cities in Anhui province
Accelerating the transformation rate of scientific and technological achievements is an important means to achieve high-quality economic development,as the driving force for optimizing resource allocation,digital technology has a profound impact on the transformation rate of scientific and technological achievements.This paper builds a comprehensive digital technology development index based on the data of 16 cities in Anhui Province from 2010 to 2021,and uses the two-stage DEA to calculate the efficiency of scientific and technological achieve-ments transformation.The empirical test finds that:Firstly,from the perspective of time,the transformation rate of scientific and technological achievements in various cities in Anhui Province has slowly increased during the sample period.From the perspective of space,Hefei is far ahead of other cities in terms of the transformation rate of scientific and technological achievements.The cities in southern Anhui are generally higher than those in northern Anhui,while the transformation rate of resource-based cities is low.Secondly,the development of digital technolo-gy will significantly improve the conversion rate of scientific and technological achievements,and this conclusion is still valid after a series of ro-bustness tests.Thirdly,compared with smaller cities and resource-based cities,the impact of digital technology development on the transforma-tion rate of scientific and technological achievements is higher in larger cities and non resource-based cities.Lastly,digital technology develop-ment will improve the transformation rate of scientific and technological achievements through market effect and structure effect,and market ef-fect and structure effect play a part of intermediary role between them.The conclusion of this paper enriches the relevant research on digital tech-nology and scientific and technological achievements,and also provides ideas for promoting the transformation efficiency of scientific and tech-nological achievements in Anhui and promoting the high-quality development of Anhui economy.
