Tongya is a comprehensive work of Fang Yizhi Xiaoxue.Through exploring the orientation,content and the recruitment of ideas of Tongya,and then investigating the problem of the return to the Ministry of Siku Quanshu Tongya,it is found that the reasons cannot be attribut-ed to political factors.The Synoptics of the General Catalogue of the Siku Book greatly devalues the Hongwu Zhengyun,and Fang's Tongya greatly emphasizes Hongwu Zhengyun and Hongwu Zhengyun Jian,the difference of academic tendency is also an important factor causing this kind of return.
