Research on the Impact of Digital Transformation on Enterprise Diversification
In the era of digital economy,the digital transformation of enterprises has gradually become a focus of academic attention.Based on the theoretical analysis of the impact of digital transformation on corporate diversification,this article empirically tests the impact and mecha-nism of digital transformation on corporate diversification based on the data of Chinese A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2016 to 2021.The research results found that digital transformation significantly reduces the degree of diversification of enterprises,and this conclusion still holds after a series of robustness tests.Mechanism testing shows that digital transformation of enterprises will reduce the de-gree of diversification by improving corporate governance,improving information disclosure quality,and enhancing innovation performance.The inhibitory effect will be more pronounced in private enterprises,enterprises with lower financing constraints,and enterprises with greater growth capabilities.The research provides an empirical basis for analyzing digital technology progress promoting the development of real econo-my from a micro-perspective,and the research conclusion provides a feasible path to promote the integration of digital economy and real econo-my.
