Study on the Influence Mechanism of Digital Life on the Degree of Employment Anxiety of College Students
Digital life is a new direction for the evolution and development of traditional life models, and it is a major innovation based on the progress of digital technology and the accumulation of capital, which provides new perspectives on the factors influencing employment.Ana-lyzing the employment effects of digital transformation provides a theoretical basis for achieving an inclusive sharing of digital life. The empiri-cal results indicate that digital life significantly increases the level of employment anxiety among college students, and employment expectancy partially mediates this pathway, while self-efficacy positively moderates the extent to which employment expectancy positively predicts employ-ment anxiety. The results of this research also show that most graduates have a clear tendency to look forward to employment within the system, with a relatively strong willingness to take public exams and pursue higher education, and a generally high level of salary expectations in the sur-veyed samples. In addition, the regression results found that control variables such as gender, age, and household registration also have an impact on employment anxiety, with women having an overall higher level of employment anxiety compared to men due to the prevalence of gender dis-crimination in more industries.
