The Resume of Kuai Guanbao,A Calligrapher Who Was an Official of Guizhou in the Qing Dynasty
Kuai Guanbao,a native of Li Township,Wu Jiang,Jiangsu Province,worked in Anshun,Zunyi,Xingyi and other places during the years of Daoguang and Xianfeng dynasties.He was kind to scholars,concerned about the masses,was clean and successful official,although he was a bottom official.At the same time,he was good at calligraphy,painting and poetry.He was a model for Guizhou officials in both his political achievements and literature and art.The experience of Kuai Guanbaoand his colleagues as officials in Guizhou shows that when contemporary scholars study the culture and education of Guizhou in the Qing Dynasty,they should not ignore the contributions of officials and scholars from Jiangsu,Zhe-jiang,Hunan and other places,but also pay attention to the important role of talent exchange in the devel-opment of Guizhou.
