Taking the research papers of the Guide to the Core Journals of China and CSSCI incorporat-ed in CNKI from 2001 to 2021 as the data source,this article aims to give a visualized quantitative analysis on the current situation of the domestic phonological research from the multi-dimensional perspectives as the numbers of published papers,relevant academic journals,keyword co-occurrence analysis,clustera-nalysis,keywords to burst terms,and others by using the research tool CiteSpace software.The study found that(1)domestic phonological research publications has shown a upwards trend over past twenty years.(2)the relevant research is published in numerous core journals,but the distribution of these publi-cations is relatively homogeneous,with a concentration in Chinese-language journals.(3)the hot areas of study cover Chinese Phonology;Optimality Theory;Homophony Syllabary;Archaic Chinese;Dialect;Tone;Stress and Phonological evolution.(4)domestic scholars have not adequately directed their atten-tion towards the most recent phonological theories and research methodologies.
