Research on the Relationship between Learning Motivation and Educational Expectations of Visually Impaired Children
In order to understand the relationship between learning motivation and educational expecta-tions of visually impaired children,more than 200 visually impaired students in four special education schools in Guizhou Province were used as research tools.The results found that the learning motivation and educational expectations of visually impaired children were at the upper middle level.In terms of learn-ing motivation,female visually impaired children had significantly higher learning value than male students,and visually impaired children from complete families had significantly higher self-efficacy than incomplete families.In terms of educational expectations,visually impaired children from complete fami-lies have higher parental education expectations than incomplete families.On the level of parental educa-tional expectations,the educational expectations of living with parents are higher than those with mothers,grandparents and others.Conclusion:The educational expectations of visually impaired children were sig-nificantly positively correlated with learning motivation,and educational expectations had a significant pos-itive prediction of learning motivation.
