摘要
专业八级考试(简称TEM8)是本科英语专业高年级阶段最重要的等级考试之一,其汉译英部分既是考试的难点也是考生成绩的主要堵点.基于框架思想的TEM8真题讲解策略包括:教师借助通用概念框架引导学生建构原文认知图像;通过引入免费线上语料资源FrameNet中的框架信息指导学生在目标语中重构认知图像;引导学生利用FrameNet中的真实语料,特别是框架元素的句法构型,打磨并评估译文.
Abstract
The Test for English Majors Band 8(TEM8)is a pivotal examination for senior undergrad-uate English majors,with the Chinese-to-English translation section posing both a challenge and a sig-nificant obstacle to overall performance.It proposes an integrated instructional strategy that leverages frame thinking,involving:Teachers guiding students to construct the cognitive image of the original text using a general conceptual framework;Directing students to reconstruct the cognitive image in the target language by introducing frame information from the free online corpus resource FrameNet;Guiding students to refine and evaluate their translations,with a focus on the syntactic configuration of frame ele-ments,using authentic data from FrameNet.
