Exploring College English Writing Difficulties from the Ideological and Political Education Perspective
Based on the cultural and educational attributes of critical thinking ability and writing error analysis,this paper adopts a mixed research combining quantitative and qualitative methods to explore the college English writing difficulties from the ideological and political perspective.Students committed more writing errors on such linguistic layers as grammar,vocabulary,syntax and semantics,and intralingual transfer and interlanguage transfer are the main contributors;students lack a certain enthusiasm in writ-ing,and the writing contents lack a certain ideological connotation and critical thinking quality.The analy-sis of writing difficulties should take both language and cognition into consideration,integrating ideological and political education to improve students'writing level and guide them to use English to show their cul-tural confidence and national sentiment.
