Research on the Characteristics of Spatial and Temporal Distribution of Bridge Resources and Influencing Factors in Chongqing
The ancient bridges in Chongqing were mainly distributed in the township areas in the cur-rent main city metropolitan area;the number of modern bridges is smaller,but the distribution is relative-ly balanced,and has been expanded to Wanzhou and other regions;the number of modern bridges is cen-tred on the main city metropolitan area,and decreases to the surrounding area.In terms of the current sta-tus of regional distribution of bridges,the main city metropolitan area has the highest density of bridge distribution,while the Three Gorges Reservoir area in northeast Chongqing and the Wuling Mountain townships in southeast Chongqing are lower.The factors affecting the distribution of bridges are,in or-der,urbanisation rate,terrain elevation,population density and industrial weight.The urbanisation rate has a greater impact on the Three Gorges Reservoir Area in northeast Chongqing and the Wuling Mountain Townships in southeast Chongqing,while the topography and population density have the most significant impact on the main urban metropolitan areas,especially the urban areas of Jiangjin and Dazu.
