In the early Ming Dynasty,the central government established a relatively complete post system in Guizhou,and the management of post institutions was very strict.Until the middle and late Ming Dynasty,the imperial government gradually relaxed the management of post institutions,and in-creased the oppression of post workers,resulting in numerous problems in the post business.The con-struction of post road traffic was the key way for the Ming Government to administer Guizhou and control the southwest,and it was especially important to keep the post road smooth.However,due to the influ-ence of subjective and objective factors,the passage of Guizhou post road was often hindered.Therefore,the government took a series of measures to maintain the public order of the post road and ensure the pas-sage of the post road.
