The Zhujialu Beishan is a site containing the elements of microblade technology. In May 2020,a Paleolithic archaeological team composed of the School of Archaeology of Jilin University and the Nong'an County Cultural Relics Adminis-tration discovered this site during an investigation of the Balohu Lake Group in the western part of Nong'an County.Forty-six surface-collected lithic artifacts were found, including flake blank cores, microcores, flakes, microblades, chunks or debris, and lithic implements. The research indicates that flint is the predominant material, and the technology for flaking flake blank cores is relatively simple, microcores included two types of irregular chunk-shaped and semi-conical shapes, with both types serving as scrapers and points for the second and third categories of tools. The sizes are mostly small and miniature, with few being medium-sized.Based on the stratigraphy and lithic industry characteristics,it is tentatively classified as the Late Paleo-lithic Era.
