Identification and Analysis of 14-3-3 Gene Family in Daucus carota
Taking carrot as the test material,14-3-3 gene family in carrot were identified and their physicochemical properties, gene structure, conserved domains, replication events, phylogenetic evolution and cis-acting elements were analyzed,in order to provide reference for further understanding the function of 14-3-3 proteins in carrot. The results showed that a total of 11 14-3-3 genes were identified in carrot, unevenly distributed on six chromosomes, containing 3 to 7 exons, and one pair of 14-3-3 genes underwent segmental duplication.Carrot 14-3-3 proteins contained 236-264 amino acid residues, with molecular weight of 26.64-30.14 kD,isoelectric point of 5.84-9.14,and 7 conserved motifs. All 14-3-3 proteins of carrot were acidic and non-secreted proteins and located in the nucleus.Phylogenetic analysis indicated that the 14-3-3 proteins of carrot were divided into e-type(3 members)and non e-type(8 members). In addition,cis-acting element analysis showed that carrot 14-3-3 genes contained a large number of hormone-and stress-related elements.
