Genetic Diversity Analysis on Agronomic Traits of Cucurbita L. Germplasm Resources in Jilin of China
Variation analysis, principal component analysis and cluster analysis were used to study the genetic diversity of 27 agronomic traits of 40 local pumpkin germplasm resources,in order to provide reference for protecting local pumpkin germplasm resources and accelerating the improvement and breeding process of local pumpkin germplasm resources. The results showed that the variation coefficient of 27 agronomic traits of 40 local resources of pumpkin ranged from 12.71% to 85.15%, with an average variation coefficient of 34.54%.The average variation coefficient of fruit (36.51%) was significantly higher than that of seed (28.90%).Principal component analysis extracted four principal components, and the cumulative contribution rate was 48.16%,which could basically summarize the total information of these traits, and the contribution rate of seed traits was greater than that of fruit traits.By cluster analysis,40 pumpkin germplasm were divided into four categories at European distance 12.32,included 1,6,23 and 10 germplasm, respectively. The first category was only No.28,and its prominent trait was the longitudinal diameter of commercial melon,up to 32 cm,which had a large genetic gap with the other 39 materials.
