Wild Ornamental Grass Resources and Ornamental Evaluation in Harbin Area
Taking 40 wild ornamental grass resources in Harbin as the test materials,and using the grey correlation analysis method,the growth status and ornamental value of 40 ornamental grass resources in Harbin were studied,a comprehensive evaluation was conducted,in order to better develop ornamental grass resources.The results showed that 33 out of 40 ornamental grasses had an association degree of over 0.6 with the ideal species.Six ornamental grasses with high comprehensive evaluations include Amaranthus caudatus L.,Tri folium repens L.,Rudbeckia hirta L.,Hypochaeris ciliata(Thunb.)Makino,Bromus inermis Layss.and Lythrum salicaria L..Their association degrees with the ideal species were 0.812 4,0.783 4,0.771 2,0.753 2,0.753 1 and 0.750 1,respectively.It could be directly applied to the landscaping and beautification of cities in Harbin area.
