Taking Stropharia rugosoannulata as the research object, the effect of different forestry waste sawdust on the fermentation process and agronomic traits of Stropharia rugosoannulata culture material was studied using the stacking fermentation method,in order to provide reference for the optimization of the process of using forestry waste sawdust as the cultivation substrate for Stropharia rugosoannulata. The results showed that there were great differences in the physicochemical properties of forestry wastes sawdust from different tree species under the same conditions of nurturing, storage and shredding. The different forestry waste sawdust formulas all showed the slowest degradation of lignin during the composting process, and the rates of cellulose and hemicellulose degradation varied among different formulas.Formulas of Populus tomentosa and Salix matsudana sawdust as the main material for cultivation of S.rugosoannulata had a faster mycelial growth rate and better commercial properties of the fruiting bodies, and the biological efficiency reached 56.44%and 50.39%,respectively,which were higher than that of the other two forestry waste formulas. The results suggested that P.tomentosa and S.matsudana sawdust could be prioritized for cultivating S.rugosoannulata utilizing the local forestry wastes in the vicinity.
