Genetic Expression of Double Haploid Inflorescence in Gerbera hybrida Based on Ovule Induction Cultivation
Taking Gerbera hybrida varieties and their double haploids induced from ovules as the test materials, the field completely random arrangement method was used to observe the flower color, inflorescence type, and flower center color of flowering plants, and analyzed the genetic performance of Gerbera hybrida inflorescence,in order to provide reference for parental selection in directional breeding of Gerbera hybrida. The results showed that the color of the flower petal and flower center of Gerbera hybrida showed a tendency towards maternal inheritance, and the probability of over 95%for the offspring of red varieties with double haploid plants to have the same flower color as the maternal plant, and the probability of flower center color being consistent with the maternal plant was over 55%.The inflorescence types of double haploid plants in the offspring of single petal varieties had a significant tendency towards maternal inheritance, and the probability of being consistent with the maternal plants was more than 90%.The inflorescence types of double haploid plants derived from double petal varieties and semidouble petal varieties did not show a significant maternal tendency, and the probability of being consistent with the maternal plants was less than 35%.
