Analysis the Phylogenetic Relationship of 50 Germplasm Resources of Hibiscus syriacus L.Based on SRAP Molecular Markers
Taking Hibiscus syriacus L.as the test material,UPGMA method was adopted, the genetic relationships of 50 Hibiscus syriacus L.were analyzed by 16 pairs of SRAP primers,in order to provide reference for accelerating the breeding process of new Hibiscus syriacus L.varieties.The results showed that 16 SRAP combining primers produced 390 bands, included 388 polymorphic bands, with a polymorphism ratio of 99.49%.At the genetic distance of 0.362 0,50 Hibiscus syriacus L.varieties were classified into 5 categories. The results of clustering analysis revealed significant correlation among phylogenetic relationship of Hibiscus syriacus L.varieties and two morphological characteristics of flower, basal blotches in the petal and petal-type.And yet, there was no significant correlation between phylogenetic relationship and flower color. In addition, there was no significant correlation between phylogenetic relationship and the morphological characteristics of plant, leaf and fruit. In conclusion, the SRAP markers, showing high level of polymorphism in the genome detection of Hibiscus syriacus L.,could be used as an effective means for identification of the germplasm resources and molecular marker-assisted breeding of Hibiscus syriacus L.
